Ceropegia superba

This plant is native to Saudi arabia and has been known since 1984.

I have been growing this ceropegia for about 2 years. It seems to be fairly easy to care for if you keep it warm in the winter. Blooms appear one at a time (for me) with a period of waiting in between the appearance of the 3 inch flowers. If my plant were larger there would be more blooms. It is growing in a hanging basket and it gets very long flowering somewhere in the middle of its stem.

When the stems trail too far, I throw them back up over the basket making long loops. After a while the stems will try to climb anyway. If this vine were scrambling over a bush, it would probably bloom more and closer to the growing tips that would be high on the top of the bush.
